Accomplished!

I’ll be back to my normal posting tomorrow. But I wanted to share an accomplishment today.
10 weeks ago, when I started this program, the prospect of being home all day long with my child was terrifying. I wasn’t able to pick her up, couldn’t chase her down to change a diaper (she won’t poop in the potty), was emotionally unstable to the point of tears constantly which I would try to hide from her and would no longer be able to once my husband returned to work. I was so, so afraid of him going back to work and leaving me here with her 9 hours a day, AND homeschooling.
Not only did I make it through this entire week as a full time stay at home mom, my daughter enjoyed every moment of it. I finally had the time and energy to finish her school wall and get all of her supplies organized and her lunches and snacks for the week prepared. I was even able to stand long enough to do the murals and painting her name on the wall by myself!! It felt so good to accomplish these things. I haven’t had the best few days as far as motivation, so this was exactly what I needed to remind me how far I’ve come and precisely why I have to keep pushing myself every day. Field trips are being planned and I need to get in shape so we can both enjoy them fully!
I hope you all had a great weekend and if you’d like to share an accomplishment you had, I’d love to hear it and celebrate you!
