Stressssssssssssss

**Evening edit: I told my stress to hold its breathe until I gave up. It suffocated. I refuse to give up, give in or lay down. So, family night out it is. I will be victorious.**
I am super stressed this afternoon. I will be raising the white flag as early as possible today, so I want to get my post in first.
My day started off well enough. Autopilot is officially back on so up, dressed, out, breakfast, gym. Only when I walked in the gym, there was a big ol “POOL CLOSED” sign on the desk. I’m pretty sure I got a whole new wrinkle on my face today from how hard I frowned. I walked back to the car and threw my bag into the back seat and plopped down like a child about to throw a tantrum. My options were to drive an hour away to a different, outdoor pool and risk worsening my throat and sinus problems by trying to exercise in the water while it was 43 degrees out, or I could go home and wait for a text that the pool was back open and go later. Not wanting to feel any worse, I just went home. I didn’t even change out of my swimsuit because I knew if I did, I’d probably talk myself out of going later.
I sat down to color and said “Man, screw this.” So, I loaded up Alicia’s seated circuit. I wanted to do more so I pulled up Jeff’s upper body burn from last week and did it too. I don’t think it was supposed to be Zumba too but that “Hold ‘em up, keep ‘em up” had me shaking it. I just colored during the 1-minute rests. Then I hopped on my recumbent and did a couple miles. All in my swimsuit, just straps down because my neck didn’t need to be holding my watermelons up all day. Eventually, it became obvious the pool wasn’t getting fixed in any hurried fashion, so I finally ditched the suit around 1. I’m glad I did the workouts this morning because no way I would feel like it now that my day has degenerated.
This afternoon is now dedicated to a cathartic cry and maybe investing in a punching bag for stress relief. I have some preaching I want to do but it’s gonna have to wait until tomorrow. Have a good evening, all.
